Family Ministries

Each Sunday our children worship with the entire congregation with singing and then they head off for their very own Junior Church time. 

You may be wondering what happens once they excitedly rush off. Together, we head up to the children’s church rooms, where the kids are taught a bible lesson with the help of an object or sometimes a video. We then talk about the lesson – how it applies to their everyday lives, and how God wants to have a personal relationship with them. This is followed by an activity, like colouring (which the littlest ones love most) or word searches and crossword puzzles (a favourite among the older kids). We usually wrap things up by playing a game or just enjoying the toys. 

We strive to make the atmosphere fun, friendly and inviting for all the children. As leaders, we love to hear about what is happening in the kids’ lives … and they love telling us! 

The purpose of the nursery is to be a place where our children and infants have fun and feel safe, while allowing parents to feel comfortable leaving their child(ren) and attending the Sunday Service.  The nursery caters to children ages 3 and under. 

There are lots of toys and books and friendly volunteers who love to spend time with our little ones, showing them the love of Jesus!
